Our Services and Meetings | |
Sunday | 11.00am and 6.30pm Both services have a simple form, with hymns, prayers, the reading of Scripture and a sermon to explain and apply what the Scripture says. All are very welcome to attend these services. During the morning service we have "Sunday Special" for the children (5 to 11 year olds) and a creche for the under 5's. Communion on the first Sunday of each month following the morning service and on the third Sunday of each month at 5.45pm is open to all who truly believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and have obeyed and confessed him in Baptism by total immersion. |
Wednesday | 2.00pm Ladies Meeting. In this meeting the ladies sing hymns and usually have a visiting speaker to bring God's word to them. |
Thursday | 8.00pm Bible Study and Prayer Meeting. Generally a passage of Scripture is considered and time is spent in prayer when anyone can lead us. |
Friday | 5.15
- 6.30pm Roundabouts for children who are
in Reception, and Years 1 and 2, with games, refreshments and a
Bible story. 6.30 - 8.00pm Crossroads for children who are in Years 3, 4, 5, and 6, with games, refreshments, tuck shop, a Bible story and quizzes. 8.00 - 9.30pm Freeway for youngsters in Years 7 and above, with games (including on occasions snooker, table tennis and darts), refreshments and a discussion time centred on the Bible. |
